BIKE SHOW – Sunday 18th July 2010

The scooters were a resounding success at the recent Bike show under the Storey Bridge in Brisbane on Sunday 18th July.

We took our 5 restored scooters (Puch ‘58, NSU ‘58, Terrot ‘52, Dürkopp ‘57, DKW ‘57) and displayed them at the SilverStar stand. There was a constant stream of visitors throughout the day, and the smiles on people’s faces as they saw the colourful scooters made the effort all worthwhile.

It was the Hobby’s first public outing, and the variable belt transmission proved fascinating for the motorcycling cognoscenti at the show.
